MultiCards compliant with the PCI Data Security Standard since 2006

The credit card organisations MasterCard International and Visa International have initiated programmes like MasterCard Site Data Protection (SDP) and Visa Account Information Security (AIS) in order to further improve the security of card data processing and storage on credit card processing payment systems.
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) takes over from previous independent Security Standards. MultiCards is proud to announce that they have successfully completed the participation in this program and that they have reached PCI Compliant status and are now PCI certified by the Card organizations. |

Persbericht november 2006: Business Britain is proud to announce the presentation of "E-Commerce Solutions Provider of the Year 2006" to MultiCards. Once a year, Business Britain magazine's Board of Directors, Editorial and Management teams attend a meeting to discuss our annual awards. Due to the fact that Business Britain magazine have run with a number of major features over the course of the last 12 months, it was our Directors' choice to look into the representatives and feedback that we had from our readers over the past period of a year.
There are eight key categories that are addressed on an annual basis, each of which relates to one of the leading and ongoing topics within the publication, one of which is E-Commerce/E-Business, and the issue of organisations that have developed an effective Web presence in order to further company exposure must recognise the importance of implementing an effective and secure E-Payments facility in order to open up and develop another revenue stream for the business.

As a result, over the past 3-4 months we have assembled a team of investigative journalists whose role it was to draw up points of criteria and conduct research to allow us to reach a decision, through our points scoring system. The main generic points of criteria were:

De credit card organisaties MasterCard International en Visa International zijn begonnen met programma's als MasterCard Site Data Protection (SDP) en Visa Account Information Security (AIS) om de beveiliging van transacties en de dataopslag bij credit card processors verder te verbeteren.
De Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) neemt het over van voorgaande onafhankelijke Security Standards. MultiCards kan met trots melden dat zij het hele programma succesvol hebben afgerond, de status PCI Compliant hebben bereikt en nu PCI gecertificeerd zijn door de creditkaart maatschappijen. |
MultiCards Credit Card Fraude Preventie Service
De MultiCards Credit Card Fraude Preventie Service berekent een risico factor gebaseerd op de bekende risico factoren en de mate waarin zij fraude aan tonen.
De score die het risico van het accepteren van een order aangeeft gaat van 0 (laag risico) to 10 (hoog risico). De fraude score is geļmplementeerd in het Merchant Menu waar de merchant alle transacties kan bekijken. |
Deze Credit Card Fraude Preventie Service geeft automatisch mogelijke fraude orders aan zodat de merchant zelf kan nakijken of de order ook werkelijk een fraude order is. Dit zal het aantal fraude orders behoorlijk doen verminderen, eveneens het aantal chargebacks op fraude orders.
